Based on both Baidu’s search index data and its intelligent content distribution and recommendation data, New Product Release Index calculates its results by combining popularity, purchase intention and industrial influence of new products.
New product’s popularity: popularity shown by Baidu’s user searches and intelligent content distribution and recommendation;
Purchase intention: customers’ intention of purchase reflected by their searches on Baidu;
Industrial influences: comparison between new product’s degree of attention and its industry’s degree of attention.

Visit Baidu Index on your mobile devices and click on “New Product Release Index”. You can search for any new products of your industry here, and view more by sliding aside.
2. Index trend of new products (with comparison to similar products)
Here you can add new products for comparison.
3. New product index interpretation
In the data overview section, slide to the right to view the three elements of a new products: popularity, purchase intention and industrial influence.
Baidu mentioned that it will bring more features and data to this new index tool.
